China Glaze: Custom Kicks (Kicks Collection, 2009)

This colour is really beautiful. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how to describe the colour, it's not quite a teal, but it definitely has a slight blue undertone. Colour aside, the gold iridescent shimmer is what really draws you in. It's stunning! This polish has a lovely consistency, and only requires two coats. My only gripe is that it stained my nails really badly despite having a base coat on. If you're going to wear this one make sure you take preventative measures!

China Glaze: Ruby Pumps (Wizard of Ooh Ahz Collection, 2001 &2009)

This colour is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Definitely one of my favourites in my stash. It originally came from the 'Wizard of Ooh Ahz' collection back in 2001, and they re-released the collection again in 2009. I'm so glad they did! Just as the name suggests, this colour is reminiscent of Dorothy's ruby shoes in the Wizard of Oz. It's a medium-dark red base with the most amazing red glitter through it. Goes opaque in 2 coats, or you can layer one coat over other colours for a different look. It isn't a real pain to get off like some glitters are either. For anyone looking for a sparkly red, GET THIS COLOUR. You won't regret it. Promise.

Chine Glaze: Seduce Me (Patent Leather In The City Collection, 2005)

This shade is great for Autumn and Winter. It's a real berry red with a slight undertone of fuchsia. It only requires 2 coats for full opacity, and if you're wanting a slightly darker shade you can add a 3rd coat. Make sure you use a high-shine top coat with this one though, or it will look a little dull. This is fast becoming one of the most frequently used shades in my collection.

China Glaze: VI (X Collection, 2007)

This colour was released as part of China Glaze's 10th Anniversary Collection, named 'X'. The 10 shades were given the names of roman numerals in the order that they climb the colour chart. I'm not going to say this colour is terrible. For me it didn't really work, but I'm very pale and I could definitely see it working on someone with a warmer skin tone. The colour is a real rusty brown with an orange undertone, and a chunky shimmer through it. I wouldn't quite call it glitter, but for a shimmer it's a strange consistency. It somehow manages to work though. What you see in the bottle is pretty much what you get. It did dry quickly and I was able to get away with doing just one thickish coat for an even coverage which is a plus. For me personally though I won't be wearing it just by itself.

China Glaze: Fuschia

This colour is a beautiful bright pink that has a slight blue tint when the sunlight catches it and it has a great formula. You can get away with a single coat if you're in a real hurry and aren't planning on it lasting too long, but 2 coats really makes this colour pop! Dries fast too and doesn't require a top coat to really shine. I only wish I could work out which collection this colour originally came from. It has been incorporated into China Glaze's line of core colours, but I'm a little strange and like to know the roots of my colours. If anyone happens to know which collection this wonderful colour originally came from I'd appreciate the information!

China Glaze: Frostbite (Ski Collection, 2007)

The most amazing bright electric blue! Has a beautiful shimmer finish. If you're afraid of colour, do NOT buy this. Perfect when you want to add a bit of pop to your outfit and looks great with pale skin tones. Formula is a little runnier than some China Glazes, but application wasn't much of a problem. I did freak out a bit after one coat as it was so thin and streaky, but the second coat was all it took to create opacity. Definitely recommend this if your after a blue that will make a statement.

    1. I'm super lucky that I have a friend who is a beautician so she's able to access the stores who supply to industry and I get mine from there. Sadly I've never seen China Glaze stocked in any shops open to the public here in Queensland either. However, I know that Crush Cosmetics (http://www.crushcosmetics.com.au/) sell China Glaze. Also, there's a seller on ebay who has been recommended to me by quite a few other bloggers. I just placed an order with them tonight so I can't yet comment on their service etc first hand, but if you're interested their seller name is beautyzone2007. I hope that helps a little! I know it means you can't see the colours in real life before buying them, but I usually google swatches and reviews first so I have a general idea of what to expect.
